I didn't want to ever quit smoking
I'm one of those people that believed I could/would ever quit smoking. |After 55 years and already on oxygen I did. I got COPD and landed in the hospital. So I gave it up then and there. Habitrol worked wonders for my cravings. Maybe too well because after 7 years of being smoke-free I still use them. Dr. said it was ok - at least I wasn't smoking. I'm no longer coughing my brains out and no more yucky phlegm. I sleep better, everything is better. Most important I am no longer damaging my already severe COPD lungs and I don't smell like a dirty ashtray. Good luck to all.
